Once all the formal urban planning procedures have been completed, final application for the building permit for the Belle van Zuylen development will be submitted in mid 2009/early 2010. Construction work is expected to start in 2010 and the building will be ready for occupancy in mid 2013/2014.

Burgfonds, the main contractor, is collaborating closely with the Municipality of Utrecht and Architecten Cie in order to bring the plans for the Belle van Zuylen tower to fruition. All of these parties welcome feedback and will attempt to incorporate reactions from residents into the designs wherever possible. All those involved will be regularly informed of progress and new developments. The information meeting for residents of Utrecht of 17 May 2008 is a typical example. About 700 people attended and were updated on the progress that has been made with the project to date.
